Volunteer
Family Promise of Washington County has many amazing volunteers helping 365 days a year to support individuals, and families with children facing a housing crisis! Volunteers of any age are always welcomed and appreciated at Family Promise! Family Promise provides over 10,000 nights of shelter a year and it would not be possible without each and every one of our valuable volunteers.
We have many ways for individuals, groups, families, congregations and businesses to become involved – age, skill and availability don’t matter – we will find the perfect fit!

There are many ways individuals, families, groups, and congregations can support Family Promise of Washington County. Whether you can help once, weekly, monthly, or on a regular basis, your time makes a difference for families facing a housing crisis.
Office Angels:
Angels Volunteers are needed to help around the office. We are more than happy to work with your schedule!
Make a Meal:
Help prepare breakfast or dinner with one of our host congregations. Individuals and groups can serve our families a warm meal while sharing compassion and encouragement through food.
Kids Care Program:
Do you have a school, youth group, Girl/Boy Scout troop, or sports team that wants to help children experiencing homelessness? A Family Promise staff member would love to talk with your class, team, or group about the realities of child and family homelessness and provide a service activity where kids can make a difference.
Children's Enrichment:
We typically have infants and toddlers in our program who would love to participate in activities or special events throughout the summer and holidays.
Groups Who Have Volunteered With Us Include:
Youth Groups
Families in the Community
Local Congregations
Banks, Grocery Stores, Schools, and Kiwanis Groups
